How do I delete my account?

You can request the deletion of your account and your data from your account settings in the app, or by contacting support.

What deletion actually does

• Your account is not wiped from our systems: it is anonymised, in line with the GDPR. Your personal details (name, photo, bio, phone number, address) are removed, and your profile no longer appears in search or on the site.
• Your bank details are deleted.
• Your live listings are taken off sale.

It is permanent

A deleted account cannot be restored, and your listings cannot be recovered: if you come back to Opla later, everything has to be listed again from scratch.

⚠️ Before deleting your account, make sure you have no orders in progress (nothing bought, nothing sold and waiting to be shipped) and no balance left in your wallet: withdraw your money first, it cannot be recovered afterwards.
