Can I make an offer or negotiate the price?

Yes, on eligible items you can propose a price to the seller from the item page. The seller can accept, decline or make a counter-offer. Once the offer is accepted, you can pay at the agreed price.

You're the seller: replying to an offer

An offer you receive appears in the conversation with the buyer, on a "New offer" card showing the proposed price.

  1. Open the Messages tab, then the "Sales" filter.
  2. Open the buyer's conversation.
  3. On the "New offer" card, choose:
    • "Accept offer": the buyer can then pay the proposed price.
    • "Reject offer": the buyer can send you another one.
    • "Make a counter-offer": enter your price, then tap "Propose". It must be lower than the item's listed price. Your counter-offer replaces the pending offer: it's then up to the buyer to accept or decline it.

You can also propose a price to the buyer at any time from the conversation, with the "Make an offer" button.

Does an accepted offer have a deadline? No, but the item stays on sale for everyone until it's paid for: the first person to pay gets it. An accepted offer can no longer be cancelled; an offer that's still pending can be cancelled by the person who made it.
