# Why is my account suspended, and how do I contest it?

An account may be **temporarily suspended** if there is a suspicion that our terms (payment, safety, behavior) haven't been respected.

⚠️ **Important**: Opla will **never** ask you to "verify" your account by entering your bank details via a link — that kind of message is a **scam**. To understand or contest a suspension, contact **only the official support** from the app or the opla.co website.
