# Which size should I choose for women's clothing?

On Opla, a women's clothing size is both a letter and a size number. Pick the one on the label: both mean the same size.

| Letter | UK size | French size |
|---|---|---|
| XXS | 4 | 32 |
| XS | 6 | 34 |
| S | 8 | 36 |
| M | 10 | 38 |
| L | 12 | 40 |
| XL | 14 | 42 |
| XXL | 16 | 44 |
| 3XL | 18 | 46 |
| 4XL | 20 | 48 |
| 5XL | 22 | 50 |
| 6XL | 24 | 52 |
| 7XL | 26 | 54 |
| 8XL | 28 | 56 |

Beyond that, UK sizes 30, 32 and 34 (French 58, 60 and 62) have no letter.

**Display**: on all women's clothing (dresses, tops, trousers, skirts, coats…), the size shows both, for example « UK 8 (S) ». Searching for S finds the same items.

**Buying**
- A garment in UK 10 and a garment in M are the same size.
- Fit varies from brand to brand: read the description (measurements, the seller's advice). If in doubt, ask the seller in a message before buying.

**Selling**
- Pick the size on the label. Pick « UK 8 (S) », « UK 10 (M) »… directly: if the label only shows a letter or a number, the table gives the other one.
- If the item runs small or large, say so in the description.

**Special cases**
- **Jeans**: a US size (W26, W28…) is a waist measurement. Put it in the description.
- **Bras**: they have their own grid (85B, 90C…).
- **Shoes, men's and kids'**: separate grids, not covered by this table.
