# Can I transfer the money from my wallet to a bank account?

Yes. From your wallet, you can request a **transfer to your bank account** by entering your **IBAN and your BIC** (also known as the SWIFT code). Be careful not to make a mistake. The payout is made by SEPA transfer and can take **up to 4 business days** (weekends and public holidays excluded).

**Where do I enter my IBAN in the app?**

Open your **wallet**: just below your balance you will find two buttons side by side, **"Edit"** (bank card icon) and **"Withdraw"**.

- **"Edit"** opens the IBAN / BIC / account holder name form. You can save your details there **right away**, even before you have sold anything.
- **"Withdraw"** is then used to request the transfer, once you have money from sales in your wallet.

If the "Withdraw" button appears greyed out, withdrawals are not yet enabled on your account: contact support.

Good to know:
- Only the money from your **sales** can be transferred; **purchase vouchers** (referral bonuses, etc.) can be spent on Opla but cannot be withdrawn by transfer.
- After a **change to your bank details**, transfers are blocked for **72 hours** as a security measure.

**Transfer not received?** First allow the 4 business days. If you still have no news after 5 business days, contact support with the date of your request.

**Transfer shown as "failed"?** It usually means there is an error in your IBAN or BIC, or your bank rejected the transfer. Nothing is lost: **the amount is automatically credited back to your wallet**. Check and correct your IBAN and BIC in the app, then request a new transfer. If you changed your bank details, wait 72 hours before requesting again.

Please note: the wallet is not a bank account and cannot be used as one.

**⚠️ Special case — old points (before 2026)**

If you had an account on the Opla website **before 2026**, your old **points** cannot be withdrawn by bank transfer: they can only be redeemed as **purchase vouchers**, from the website, on this page: https://www.opla.co/account/wallet?tab=points

The money from your **sales**, however, can still be withdrawn by transfer as described above.
